Committees are created by the municipality to study specific issues in depth. The members of these committees are generally elected officials. In some cases, private citizens are solicited to be members of these committees, thus offering them the opportunity to get involved in their community. The role of the various committees is to discuss and develop recommendations for consideration by Municipal Council. Meeting dates vary depending on the needs of these committees.
