How to pay your bill

There are several ways to pay your municipal tax bill

  • IN PERSON AT THE MUNICIPAL OFFICE COUNTER located at 70 Rue Principale. We accept cash, cheque or direct payment (Interac);

  • ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS: ATM and automated service from your financial institution. When you choose to pay through the ATM or on the web, it is essential that you enter the roll number that appears on the remittance slip. This number is entered on the tax account as follows:

    Example: F 3333 33 3333 00 0000

    ► However, you only need to enter 3333 33 3333, thus the ten (10) digits representing your roll number.

  • PAYMENT AT YOUR BANKING INSTITUTION: You can make your payments at the counters of most financial institutions with your bill in hand.

  • AUTOMATIC BANK DEPOSIT is a fast and secure way to pay your property taxes. Complete and return the form provided.

The assessment role

The property assessment serves as the tax base for the annual billing of the tax bill at both the municipal and school levels.

Prepared by the MRC's assessor, the property assessment roll contains information on each of the properties located on the municipality's territory. In effect for three municipal fiscal years, the assessment roll is primarily an instrument for sharing the tax burden among property owners. The property assessment roll has three official functions, which are :
 ...to identify the information required for municipal and school property taxation purposes;
 ...to ensure the transparency of Quebec's property taxation system by providing access to this information to any interested person;
 ...to allow any taxpayer to compare the entries for his or her property with those for other similar properties.

We have tabled the new 2022-2023-2024 assessment roll for all properties located on our territory. These values will be in effect for the next three years, unless your property changes.

The actual property values on the 2022 roll have been established based on market conditions as of July 1, 2020.

 For more information on the assessment roll, please consult the document prepared by the Government of Quebec
